Adoption fees help support the care of animals in our Non Profit No Kill Rescue. Each fee will be different for each animal. This is depending on the medical costs, length of time at B.A.R.K and age. The fee helps us know that the animal will be going to a good home, that is willing to put a little money into the well-being of the animal. If you are interested in a animal, and feel you are unable to pay the whole fee stated, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you. We feel it is necessary to get these animals into their forever homes and we are here to help them, not make money off of them.
Did you know??? Every day there is a average of 300 animals taken to Valley shelters and every day about half will be euthanized. By adopting a rescue animal you are helping put a stop to the overpopulation from breeding.
Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animal while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs.
Our adoption fee helps covers the initial veterinary costs;
- Spaying or neutering
- Distemper/Parvo vaccination series
- Any medications needed
- Tick/Flee bathes, medications (if necessary)
We are always willing to work with adopting fees, in special situations. We believe t there is a right home for every animal and that some animals don't work for every one. Therefore we offer a 7 day return policy, in which if the animal was not a good fit you can get your adopting fee returned or find an other animal that will be better fitting for your family. You are always encouraged to call B.A.R.K. at any time you feel there is a issue with your adopted animal, even years down to road!
